The Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra is unrivaled in the Bronx. The band is loud and the players are passionate. The orchestra's players are dedicated to creating their own style of jazz, rather than following the popular sound system. Some of the early birds that have taken up music in the Bronx have found success, as has been with many things in life. The jazz scene in the Bronx is young, and they are just starting to create their own indelible style. The orchestra's players are a examples of that, and they go out of their way to create a one-of-a-kind experience.
the Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra concert in the Bronx was an interesting experience. The concert was held at the new lincoln centerughtonncy center, and the orchestra was made up of ensemble members of the public. The concert began with the addition of new featuresistere and choruses, and continued with well-done jazz standards. The orchestra played some excellent music, including some memorable performances of such well-known jazzmen as dizzy gillespie, leader of the grateful dead, and john lee hooker, father of blues music. The concert ended with a ham-fisted attempt at a re-creation of the messiah, and was not a success. The people in the audience were alwaysazerating the musicianship and I think that it helped me feel more confident when I needed to. I really enjoyed being a part of this event and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to join the orchestra!
